Refund and Digital Services Policy

Effective date: 2026-03-02

1. Digital nature of services

DayStalkers provides access to digital research tools, analytical systems, datasets, investigative mapping features, and membership-based services.

Access to digital features may be granted immediately upon successful payment, account authorization, or administrative approval.

Because access to digital services may be delivered immediately, services are generally considered fulfilled once access has been provided.

2. Refund policy

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, digital subscriptions, memberships, and access-based services are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

If a billing error, duplicate charge, or unauthorized transaction occurs, the issue will be reviewed and corrected upon verification.

3. Subscriptions and cancellation

Subscription-based services may renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

Users are responsible for managing and cancelling subscriptions before renewal if they do not wish to continue service.

Cancellation prevents future billing but does not retroactively refund prior charges already processed.

4. Access termination

Access to the Services may be suspended, restricted, or terminated for violations of the Terms of Service, abuse of the platform, manipulation of analytical systems, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the Services.

Refunds will not be issued for accounts terminated due to violations of platform rules or misuse of the Services.

5. Payment processing

Payments and subscription processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. Those providers’ terms, policies, and security practices govern transaction processing and payment handling.

6. Chargebacks and disputes

Users are encouraged to contact us before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes so issues can be reviewed and resolved directly.

Initiating fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension or permanent removal of access to the Services.

7. Service availability

Access to digital features, datasets, analytical outputs, and platform tools may evolve over time as the Services continue development and refinement.

Features, interfaces, datasets, and analytical systems may be modified, expanded, limited, or discontinued without prior notice.
