Except for materials that are in the public domain or attributed to original sources, no portion of this website, database, map output, analytics layer, text, design, or compiled dataset may be reproduced, redistributed, scraped, copied, downloaded, stored, transmitted, displayed, sold, or republished in any form — electronic, mechanical, digital, printed, or otherwise — without prior written permission.
Automated scraping, bulk extraction, database harvesting, API replication, or derivative commercial use is strictly prohibited.
The structure, organization, selection, arrangement, and compilation of reports, coordinates, datasets, and analytical outputs within the DayStalkers Atlas constitute a proprietary database and research compilation protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Public-domain materials remain subject to their original source rights. DayStalkers does not claim ownership of public-domain materials and does not assert affiliation with any private reporting organization unless explicitly stated.
Historical reports displayed in the Atlas may originate from public-domain archival sources, historical publications, or independently documented accounts. DayStalkers does not reproduce proprietary reporting databases.
By submitting content, you warrant that the submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. Submissions must not contain knowingly false data, personal information about third parties, or illegal content.
DayStalkers may moderate, delay, flag, edit, classify, or remove submissions at its sole discretion. Submission does not guarantee publication.
The Services may reference wilderness locations, investigative activity, or observational research. You acknowledge that any field activity undertaken is done entirely at your own risk.
DayStalkers does not direct, supervise, or authorize trespass, wildlife interference, or violation of any law. Users assume full responsibility for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
DayStalkers shall not be liable for injury, death, property damage, or legal consequences resulting from user actions or reliance on Service information.
Heatmaps, clustering, and likelihood layers are interpretive visualizations based on reported data. They do not represent verified biological confirmation, scientific validation, or predictive certainty.
Map visualizations, heatmaps, clustering layers, probability indicators, and analytical overlays are proprietary visual outputs derived from compiled datasets and may not be reproduced, mirrored, embedded, or redistributed without written permission.
The Services are provided as digital research tools. Features may be modified, restricted, suspended, or discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or permanent retention of specific datasets.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DayStalkers and its operators from any claims arising from your use of the Services or submitted content.
The Services are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, DayStalkers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.
